Farming operations on Cubbie Group Ltd (Subject to Deed of Company Arrangement)'s properties involves local skilled workers and many of Cubbie Group's core workforces are long term. The Group supports many direct and indirect local service industries and is a significant employer of the local indigenous population. Cubbie Group  employs the equivalent of 120 fulltime employees.

All contractors' accommodation is off farm.  Contractors locate themselves in either St George or Dirranbandi. This encourages the economic development of both towns.
