Cubbie Group Ltd (Subject to Deed of Company Arrangement) properties comprise 96,000 hectares of land.  Currently 22,000 hectares has been developed for agriculture. It is anticipated that a further 11,000 hectares will be developed for irrigated agriculture by the group.

The creation of Cubbie Group Ltd (Subject to Deed of Company Arrangement) formalises the relationship between two respected families who were among the pioneers of Queensland's cotton industry.

Don Brimblecombe grew one of the first crops of cotton in the Lockyer Valley in 1965 before moving to St George to grow cotton in the late 1970's.

Cubbie Station was a grazing business before being acquired in 1983 by Des Stevenson who converted the property to cotton production.
